Bo Overgaard liver passion for contemporary art out of his Copenhagen apartment, which he fearlessly decorated with huge paintings and surprising sculptures created by young artists from home and abroad. Interest in art has taken hold and has since resulted in an impressive collection of modern contemporary art, engaging all walls and corners of furniture boss Bo Overgaard’s bustling home. Bo Overgaard’s interior is instinctive and influenced by his fearless approach to big, crooked, loud and strong color artwork and a solid understanding of both new and old stars in the design stage. In the dining room hangs favorite station namely Anders Brinch four images that make up the painting road trip. Bo Overgaard hurried home and measure up, after he had seen it the first time in the Gallery Christoffer Egelund. Thankfully it fit perfectly with the dining room.

The bedroom is kept in warm shades of color with an orange bedspread from Hay and three paintings by Poul Pava over the bed. You bought Bo Overgaard by artist himself, and the titles of them, respectively. The girl who loved the sun from the sky, the boy who threw with minced meat and the boy who was about to find happiness in his own world.

Great paintings and sculptures of wild takes place everywhere in Bo Overgaard’s apartment, which is studded with stars from both art and design scene. The large painting above the sofa is by the Chilean artist Javier Tapia, while the second painting is by Karin Kaster. Felt sculpture Eastwest Crash, which hangs from the ceiling, is by Andreas Schulenburg, while the painted marble sculpture, Badutmanden, the floor is by Jon Stahn.

Here in the middle of the room hangs a Bo Overgaard’s favorites, the huge portrait of a New Zealand Maori, painted by the Swiss artist Crystel Ceresa, especially working with paintbrush and bright colors. The small blue painting is the American artist Beau Chamberlain. Krista Rosenkilde is the artist behind the dark painting that has previously been on loan to Vejle Museum of Art for exhibition Botanic metamorphosis.

The large abstract painting is of Polish Witold Stypa, while the small skulpturer is Gitte Jungersen. Montana shelves are packed with art books and gallery catalogs from Bo Overgaard’s many travels, he also seeks out and buy art.

It is sculptural in the corner with Venini vases-by Rodolfo Dordoni. The large painting on wood Wood is by Karin Kaster. The small blue painting by Beau Chamberlain imagine molecules seen quite up close. A quick cup of morning coffee by Stefano Giovannonis classic Bombo-barstool from Magis and looked at Cannondale, the bicycle and off. The work behind the Bar tables are Mie Mørkeberg and depicts an elephant in a fountain, while Ida Kvetnys work Blanket lights up on walls.
