Here is an Unique Mountain Cabin in Northern California United States which is designed by Walker-Warner Architect with the Project team: Marshall Schneider, Kathy Scott, Brooks Walker and Built by Mark Nolan General Contractor. With a stunning location, the property has views rivaling those of national park. Their clients wanted to create a cabin that celebrated the surrounding landscape while making a minimal impact on the land. Living spaces were kept small with the intent that most activity would take place outdoors. A timber frame was employed to accommodate a short building season, allow use of reclaimed wood, and tie into the vernacular of mining cabins and barns. Collaboration with artisans was a key to creating such a unique cabin.
