Kosushi Restaurant Interior | Enjoying your Sushi Hot Sauce Under the Japanese Atmosphere
Kosushi Restaurant is located in Cidade Jardim Shopping Mall, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has designed by Brazilian architect Arthur Casas. This Sushi restaurant was designed perfectly so that create a japanese Atmosphere, in other words it’s make you feel like in japan when you Enjoying your Sushi Hot Sauce. The Sushi Bar of Kosushi Restaurant

The Sushi bar was design to function as a main entry to the restaurant. A mezzanine floor was located above the Sushi Bar given a lower ceiling to this area. Arthur Casas designed a backlit ceiling at the Sushi bar area to stabilize a relationship with the Japanese culture and the restaurant cousine. At the same time the backlit ceiling sinalized the main entry catching the public attention and amplify the lower ceiling space.
The Dining Area of Kosushi Restaurant

The dining area has a higher ceiling –approximatley 6m or 19.6 ft – and a big window giving plenty of natural light to the space. The comun dining table has received Tom Dixon’s pendant lights and directonal lights were placed along the walls, washing the artwork and the plaster finished walls creating a more dramatic and theatrical effect to the dining area.

The Japanese subjects in the photos are quite different, each with their own personal and unique style, giving them their own identity. Alexandre Herchcovitch shot these portraits on the streets of Tokyo, which play a prominent role in the design of Kosushi.
