Following the successful opening of W Retreat & Spa – Maldives in 2006, W Hotels Worldwide have return opened the W Hotels Retreat & Spa – Vieques Island which was recently celebrate its new interior designed by Spanish-born Patricia Urquiola. W Hotels providing 157 artistic guestrooms and suites with private patios and balconies which is offering unparalleled views of soft sandy beaches and crystal clear waters; an exciting epicurean experience at miX on beach inspired by Alain Ducasse. Also featuring organic, local ingredients handpicked from the island’s growers; W Café for the on-the-move traveler; Spa Chakra, a serene sanctuary offering seaside yoga and authentic holistic treatments inspired by the island. As W Hotels continues its transformation into a global powerhouse, on track to expand its portfolio to more than 50 hotels by the end of 2011, W is slated to open nine new hotels this year, including two retreat properties in Bali and Koh Samui, Thailand.

Cost Effective Apartment Renovation Ideas by Atelier abigail ahern

Located in 40 miles outside of london, this stunning apartments is owned by gemma ahern who is also part of the atelier abigail ahern design team. The challanges is, they have to create a fabulously stylish pad without spending loads of money, the apartment renovation plan is to spend $10,300 (or £6,500) of their hard earned savings for a complete overhaul, that is mean they have to gutting out the apartment entirely and literally beginning again. The result is this perfect apartment interior that definitely not something we see everyday. They surely managed to impress us with the terrific work, a cost effective work. With quirky show pieces, varied hues, use of mix-and-match in styles and colors, they all makes up for a very modern yet elegant style. One of the most interesting features is the bookcase wallpaper in living room which gives a very casual and lounge-like look and feel.

New art Villa interior design by 123DV architecture

If you are looking for a new style villa with new art interior design as a source of inspiration, the Dali Villa had all of your criteria. Located in near Hague, Netherlands, this Art nouveau villas was designed by 123DV Architecture & Consult on 430 sqm Project Area. The clients are nautical minded and have a love of art, sculptures and especially the work of Salvador Dali, so the design concept is to create a very personal house which would reflect their passions. During the initial design discussions 123DV architecture, the client were fascinated by the closed white stucco facades and metal fences in Jugendstil design. The challenge for the architect team is to combine the beautiful Jugendstil forms, the closed facades, the treasures of the diving world and the unique works of the artist Dalí in one villa. The result is a cylindrical white stucco main building with a nautilus spiral structure inside; representing the world of diving. The closed facade facing the street represents the so called Spanish architecture with a blown up ‘Jugendstil’ pattern in the six meter wooden panel as the entrance. In the centre of the house there is a double story cylindrical space. The interior design features a custom designed furniture, the living room with modern fireplaces, kitchen with chic bar, private library with custom designed bookshelves, wooden dining room and large artistic bedroom.

World-class Modern Luxury Villa Interior by Marcel Wanders Studio

Casa Son Vida 1 was built in 2009 by tec Architecture under a new real estate development company Cosmopolitan Estates, Ltd. that plans and develops ultra-luxurious, high-design, state-of-the-art, sustainable residences and resorts throughout Europe and Asia. This is a world-class modern luxury villa located near Palma in the exclusive Son Vida community Mallorca, Spain. The 8,500 square foot luxury residence transgresses the constraints of site and context, redefining luxury architecture as it is typified by the traditional and prolific Mediterranean and Tuscan styles otherwise found on the island. Marcel Wanders Studio, an Amsterdam-based designer was selected to designing this luxury villa interior , marking the first full residential project for the international design phenom. With his trademark wit and style, Wanders appoints the interiors with signature furnisthings and refined finishes.
