Stylish but eco-friendly London House design by SHH Architects

Possession of a highly talented and cosmopolitan team of architects, interior designers and graphic designers, SHH Architects have proved their quality in architectural and interiors service by completed this spacious and eco-friendly family home with stylish scheme. SHH Architects have built this £1.1m house in North London for their private clients, which seeks to go beyond the legal requirements for green and energy-saving technologies in new-build properties and to embody the best in stylish but eco-friendly contemporary housing solutions, and as usual SHH finish the challanges with perfectly. The Result is this ideal family home with the interior design was opened and light with clean lines and lots of storage, so that the house could be clutter-free. Open spaces were to enhance the flow of family life, integrating all activities and family members together. Large window and door openings along with a substantial lightwell at lower-ground level would bring as much daylight inside the house as possible. The external skin of the steel-framed house is built out of lightweight, Thermalite aeriated concrete blocks with high-performance insulation, with the resulting cavity wall construction creating extremely good ‘U’ values.

The walls are finished at low level with high-quality, white, thin-layer render. Custom-cut cedar cladding from renewable sources is used at first floor level over the concrete blocks, with solid hardwood windows and matching balustrades to the flat roof terraced area. The window frames are stained but will also age naturally as the iroko matures. All the double glazing on the scheme uses high quality argon-filled units to prevent heat loss. Small Apartment with colourful funky Retro interior design by Adrienne Chinn

London base Interior Designer Adrienne Chinn have completed the Two-Bedroom apartments interior with a colourful funky Retro style for her client who need a modern living spaces with retro 60’s vibe sense inspired by its proximity to the Tate Modern Gallery. As a fully qualified interior designer, Adrienne complete the challanges by dived into her inspiration box and came up with this vibrant design with gallery white walls to show off the client’s collection of contemporary art works. She creates a graphic rug in tones of grey, pink and orange, orange-papered feature wall in the dining area, and orange-wallpapered splashbacks in the kitchen. To sets the stylish sofa, she was choose the fabrics by David Hicks for GPJ Baker and felt cushions by Anne Kyyro Quinn add a graphic touch on the sofa and beds. For the dining area, Adrienne compose the Bertoia chairs with custom chair covers in pink and orange faux suede with a 1960s style ceiling light which is installed perfectly. Wallpaper played a big role in the bathrooms, featuring blue and green wall as inspiration for the schemes in these rooms, Adrienne was using a Bold Orla Kiely bedlinen to add a lively touch to the bedrooms.
