Small Apartment with colourful funky Retro interior design by Adrienne Chinn

London base Interior Designer Adrienne Chinn have completed the Two-Bedroom apartments interior with a colourful funky Retro style for her client who need a modern living spaces with retro 60’s vibe sense inspired by its proximity to the Tate Modern Gallery. As a fully qualified interior designer, Adrienne complete the challanges by dived into her inspiration box and came up with this vibrant design with gallery white walls to show off the client’s collection of contemporary art works. She creates a graphic rug in tones of grey, pink and orange, orange-papered feature wall in the dining area, and orange-wallpapered splashbacks in the kitchen. To sets the stylish sofa, she was choose the fabrics by David Hicks for GPJ Baker and felt cushions by Anne Kyyro Quinn add a graphic touch on the sofa and beds. For the dining area, Adrienne compose the Bertoia chairs with custom chair covers in pink and orange faux suede with a 1960s style ceiling light which is installed perfectly. Wallpaper played a big role in the bathrooms, featuring blue and green wall as inspiration for the schemes in these rooms, Adrienne was using a Bold Orla Kiely bedlinen to add a lively touch to the bedrooms.

Recycled Drinks Bottle Lighting by Sarah Turner

Eco-designer Sarah Turner has transform Dumpster Plastic into amazing Lights, she was showing her recycled Drinks Bottle Lighting at the Ideal Home Show in London and recently on display at the Milan Furniture Fair. She creates her recycled Drinks Bottle Lighting collections from 3 kind of bottle, there are 2 litre bottle, Oasis botle and Cola/Sprite bottle which is reused to make a beautiful and gorgeous decorative lighting range. Through the creative process, the bottles are collected, cleaned and sandblasted to give an opaque look, then they are cut and formed into the beautiful shapes and attached to a recycled card base, secured with their own bottle top. The result is this series of colorful lampshades with graceful winding curves and the important thing is, it’s eco-friendly too.
